Cerca de 30 pessoas estiveram presentes à nona edição do Curso de Educação Continuada em Cirurgia Pediátrica CIPERJ/CREMERJ realizado na manhã deste sábado, dia 22, na sede da Associação Médica de Macaé, no Norte Fluminense.
Esta foi a primeira edição do evento que foi levada para outro local que não à capital fluminense. O intuito é possibilitar que acadêmicos de Medicina, cirurgiões pediatras e médicos de outras cidades tenham a oportunidade de conhecer ou se atualizar em Cirurgia Pediátrica.
O evento teve início com a Dra. Lisieux Eyer de Jesus, vice-presidente da CIPERJ, e o Dr. Irnak Marcelo, coordenador do curso e integrante do Conselho Profissional da CIPERJ, dando às boas-vindas aos presentes e falando sobre a importância de trazer palestras de Cirurgia Pediátrica à Macaé.
Em seguida foram ministradas palestras sobre Apendicite Aguda na Infância com a Dra. Lisieux Eyer de Jesus abordando Aspectos Epidemiológicos e Clínicos e o Dr. Carlos Eduardo Junqueira falando sobre o Tratamento Cirúrgico: Convencional x Videocirurgia, tendo logo após um debate dos palestrantes com os presentes contando com a moderação do Dr. Celso Marques de Carvalho

Após uma breve pausa para o café, foi a vez de tratar de Enterecolite Necrotizante, com apresentações sobre Fisiopatologia e Diagnóstico, com Dr. Irnak Marcelo Barbosa, e Tratamento Clínico e Cirúrgico, com a Dra. Ana Teresa Oliveira. Assim como no 1º módulo, ocorreu em seguida um breve debate dos palestrantes com os presentes tendo como moderadora a Dra. Samira Salim de Carvalho.
